It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Sieben, also affectionately known as “Granny,” on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the age of 74.
Linda was born on May 1, 1951, in Langenburg, SK to Arnold and Mary Berger. She is predeceased by her parents, her sister Valerie Bessel, brother-in-law Derald Sieben, mother and father-in-law Albert and Ann Sieben, and brothers James Bradka and Rodney Malitear.
Linda was born and raised in Langenburg, SK. She worked a variety of jobs in her lifetime. On August 5, 1978, she married Elmer and had three kids, Collyn, Savannah and Ashley. In 1989, Elmer and Linda bought the family farm and moved back to Langenburg.
Linda was known for being kind and caring. She was the hardest worker anyone had ever met. Linda’s greatest joy was her grandkids. Even at the end of her life, her biggest regret was leaving them behind. She was always there for her family and considered both her daughters-in-law, Carolyn and Dakota, and her son-in-law Kent, as her kids. She was the kind of person who always had a shoulder for you to cry on, an ear to listen and kind words for anyone in need.
Linda passed away at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband Elmer, her children Collyn and Carolyn Sieben, Savannah and Kent Trembecky, Ashley and Dakota Sieben, her grandchildren Easton and Gracie Sieben, Quinn and Sadie Trembecky, and Daxton Sieben, brothers Walter Malitear, Brian Berger and Gary Berger, sisters Lianne Sieben, Brenda Magnusson, Lynn Hawes, brothers-in-law Pat Sieben, Dale Sieben, Ernie Sieben, and Ronnie Sieben, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre.

As it had when she was here on Earth with us.”
